The Custom Image Transformation
Immense care is taken with every product created by Lydford Prints, all images provided by our customers are created digitally to emulate a watercolour illustration, a cartoon or other desired transformations.
The Ink
Our printers deliver high-quality, large-format prints with excellent detail, sharp text, and accurate colour, printing up to 2400 x 1200 optimized dots per inch (dpi) for precise detail that achieves high accuracy with a line accuracy of ±0.1% and a minimum line width of 0.02mm. Producing excellent colour reproduction and sharp details, high-contrast colour prints, adding depth and vibrancy, smooth, seamless transitions in complex images. The Paper
High quality paper is essential to ensure the best possible results and longevity of the prints.
Matt 230gsm
Most of our custom products are printed on premium 230gsm coated matt paper, which is a heavyweight paper offering a card-like feel, with a special inkjet coating designed for excellent ink absorption, sharp detail, and vivid colour reproduction.
Glossy 200gsm
We do also offer 200gsm glossy paper, this high-quality paper adds clarity and sophistication to our prints. Allowing us to print fine lines and intricate patterns with accuracy and reliability.
Canvas 410gsm
On request we can print on Matt Textured Polyester Cotton Canvas 410gsm. This is a heavily textured, white, matt canvas. With a strong weave that gives an authentic canvas look. The added polyester makes this canvas easy to stretch over a frame without cracking.
Plain 90gsm
For architectural drawings, sewing patterns and other such products, we use plain 90gsm paper, offering high quality and smoothness that provides clear, vibrant results.
